Long Break -away to Genting

Donovan turn 10mths, we were away for first family holiday from 30 June to 3rd July to Malaysia.

The trip was fun. We stay in highest floor in first world hotel (24th floor w nice view). Inside has refrigerator allow us to keep breast milk. Don has instant rice cereal and porridge. Dar loves to eat Marrybrown and buffet. Don still refuse to bottle feed.

Since we come back from holiday, I bath Don thru shower him direct from tap and while get him sit on bath tub.

On 5th July (10mth, 1 week). Don able to hands free and stand for few second. Amazing child!
On 15th July, (10mth, 2 week0. Don was able to hold on to the sofa and move few step. Achieving step!

On 1st of 8th mth, Baby prince was sick suspect teething. But fever gone and 1 week later come back with flu and cough . It gone and no sign of teeth.

Hey! Before turn 9 mths, there is a lower front teeth sprouting out.

When baby prince turn 9 mths, he got his 1st new bicycle and floor mat. He also start eating pork & fish porrigde.

First Fall & First Porridge

On April, baby prince fall from king size bed. He got a "hump" on his left forehead. After seeing doctor and observed him for few days. He was ok.

Before baby sim turns 7mth, We introduce porridge to him. He loves the vegetable porridge and have it 2 meals per day. He is able to eat 1 full bowl. Well Done Baby prince!

1st time on solid food-cereal

on 5th month (Feb 08), we decided to introduce solid food to Prince Sim. The picture shown his first look of taking other food beside milk and on spoon feeding. It is kind of " eeee look ".

Do you belive it?

On 20 Jan, Sunday evening, after coming back from Church. Daddy was trying to pat baby prince to sleep before leaving the house at 7pm to work. However, after trying for 1/2 hour , he is still awake. Daddy was in the rush and give up patting ,therefore I take over. I tried for almost an hour. I can see that baby prince is very tired and exhausted but he just could not go to sleep. Somehow, the mother instint came. I told him that don't be angry that daddy leave the house without saying goodbye to him. Daddy told him not to wait for him home. Ha ha, baby prince fell asleep after what I have said.

Building up reading & spelling confident

Baby princess is in K2 this year. She has start reading book on her own. On 14.Jan, She has volunteer to read bedtime story for me. She told me those word she deos not know she can use blending.

She has chinese spelling, she has score full mark.

New environment, New Nanny

Mother in law is unwell. For 3 days (22/Jan to 24/Jan) baby prince have to take care by Aunty Annie at Blk 117B. Thanks God for the open door, His protection and faithfulness. The search of nanny started on 20/Jan, Sunday, afternoon. Within few hours prayer was answer. Someone whom we can trust and experience. The distant was great (within Seng Kang).

Nanny said baby prince did sleep well and has finised all the milk. Nanny can feed better then I do. Each time, about 120ml, baby prince will stop drinking. I have filled each bottle with at least 150ml and glad that he can finished all.

Baby, you are great!

Baby Prince is 4th months old

Hey, Since it was a long time not writting any blog. Was really busy with returning to work on 5th Nov 2007, on baby prince 2nd injection, Christmas shopping and checking on him not to put hands in his mouth all the time. However, Doctor said that is part of development and building up his motor skill.

Now baby prince is 4th months old. On 3rd Jan 2008, he has make an achivement of turning his body. First time slept on his tummy for one whole night. He no longer like to lie down instead prefer to sit up even though he does not know have to balance himself in sit up position.

Nowadays, changing for him need a lot of "catching" as his like to turn his boby.

He is still having infrequency tooling.
